Are you into films as much as you are into music? (single, title)

My movie collection is mainly built out of the movies that people give to me, i've only probably bought 10 movies in my life. A good part of my collection comes from the street-bought movies my ex always brings back for me from Paraguay and Brazil, because they're like a dollar each.
The other part comes from my dad who is a movie fanatic, but won't watch a movie more than once, so he gives the watched movies to me.

I rarely watch movies alone, because I need someone else to be there to discuss/enjoy/mock/trip out to it with me. While with music I don't need someone to sit and listen to it with me, I accepted 95% of population dislikes the music I listen to a long time ago. Plus there is nothing like turning on the surround sound in my house, which is connected to every room and to the outside porches and just being totally surrounded by music in every direction.

Yes seen MAN BITES DOG and it's Belgian-sorry to be pedantic! The director passed away a few months ago and was only in his 30's.

Glad to see some movie lovers, and those who are not I presume are quite young? I am not being condescending at all BTW, when I was in my late teens movies barely registered on my radar, but movies are as important as films-don't forget the awesome soundtracks out there that barely register if you are only a music lover!

Not got there yet for Kai-not enough hours in the day. 2046 was subliminal, although the u.k DVD has a shockingly grainy print that ruined my enjoyment of the film. Still have'nt seen IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE yet. ALMODOVAR is a genuine talent, TALK TO HER is stupendously brilliant. I love his early stuff too-MATADOR despite it's subject matter is very erotic. I have'nt got round to watching VOLVER yet despite owning it for five months. Great to know you are a fan.

All about my mother is my all time favorite film...

You should have watched In the mood for love first. 2046 is basically a sequel (rather unnecessary at that).

I looked for it for 4 years before finding an ex-rental (the only copy on the video store database, and it was in another state) so I got it sent here through them and it only cost $2.50! That's like 1.20 for you english folk, well spent. Now, pass the tea Jeeves.
