Alrite man, theres a couple of artists on your list I aint heard of, or have heard of but not heard any tunes yet, will jot them down and add them to downloads anyway..
I aint too big on 'Libertines' like a few tracks of debut album but otherwise think Pete Docherty is pretty much lacking when it comes to musical 'talent' as such.

Radiohead I have a new appreciation of & I really liked 'In Rainbows'.

Ive heard Iggy Pop (have one album 'Lust For Life' (1977)) but havent heard his stuff with the Stooges yet.
Aint too big on Velvet Underground. Planning to check out an album of pure noise that Lou Reed did though called 'Metal Machine Music'.

Gun Club are ace man, i guess youre only familiar with their early works, i.e. 'Fire Of Love' / 'Miami'. These are both great albums, but to me their best stuff is their later works especially the rare 'Lucky Jim'.
If you havent heard it/cant get a hold of it ; just let us know & I can sort some stuff out for you.

Aint that big on the White Stripes but have the two albums 'Elephant' & 'Icky Thump' both of which are good records.

Dont like the Beatles that much (Ill leave it at that :D).

The Kills I have heard of but havent heard any of their music. Are they some kind of Indie band?

I havent properly gotten into Nick Drake yet but have quite a few of his albums downloaded ready to listen to when I get round to it & from what ive heard so far hes pretty good.

Ive heard of Whirlwind Heat but dont think Ive heard any of their stuff.

Aint too big on Jeff Buckley. Have the one album he did.
He definitely had some talent (especially vocal wise) but I think he was a bit overrated (IMO).

As for the last three- Neutral Milk Hotel, Liars, Batmobile & the others I didnt mention I havent heard of them in my life lol and have jotted them down for downloading.

Anyway heres my list for the next person to slate/praise, whatever.

6.5/10

Some GREAT choices and some absolutely HORRIBLE ones. Overall though I wouldn't mind listening to that playlist, even if it is a bit "safe".

My latest, mostly noise rock and experimental music:

Greduction Stimulus
Big Black
John Cage
The Monks
PiL
Iron Curtain
Captain Beefheart
Faust
Liars

Man I get skipped a lot in everything...
anyway 2/5 mostly just for big black, but I haven't listened to a couple on the list.

Radiohead
My Chemical Romance
Elliott Smith
Cursive
Big L
Lilys
Ben Folds
GZA

Talk about injustice. The guy above you likes John Cage, Faust and The Monks... and pretty much everything else he said (not a big fan of Liars though). What a badass.

anyway, 2/10 for you because I only like GZA.

Les Rallizes Dénudés
Boredoms
Sonic Youth
The Fall
Sun Ra
Gyorgy Ligeti
Boris
Stan Getz
Neil Young
Tim Buckley
