I loved it when Lisa Moorish (his 'good friend' who also happens to be the mother of his child, but who just hangs out with him because she's a good friend and they're so cool and free-thinking like that...) started talking to the camera about Pete and she says (a rough quote) "soon Pete will kick the drugs and then I expect all this media attention will go away and they can just get on with making music".

I had to wonder if she realised that the only reason Babyshambles sell records and gig tickets is because of all of the media attention. Its because of Pete's drugs problems that they're successful, the media see him as somebody self-destructive enough that they can follow around and hopefully one day he'll end up drugged and then dead in a gutter and they'll be able to build a full story around it, one which over-uses the words 'tortured', 'genius', 'potential', 'unfulfilled'... I'm pretty sure we all know the routine by now, worshipping rock stars all the more because they're dead.

The genie which grants your wishes gets bored halfway through granting the wish and the only property of Tenacious D which you gain is being short, bald and noticably overweight.
