Default Time Passages

Well, since my alphabet song thread has taken the big dirt nap, I figured I would try something different.

This is really a time killer thread, but you may find you have to do a little searching to play.

The object is, someone will post a song, and the year it was released, and the next person will either go forward or backward one year, and post a song from that year. If we get all the way to 2006, then whomever goes next has the choice of either going back down to 2005, or starting at the year 1900.

Ok, I wil start, and just pick a random year and song.

1973 ~ We're An American Band ~ Grand Funk Railroad

I wanted to tear my teeth out. I didn't know what I wanted to do. And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it. I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.
