haha you can't keep your own suggestion. Okay I made up a new rule, since no one wants to give their opinions on Rage I'll suggest a new song, but it's not like "Microphone Fiend" is out of the running.
For everone who knows me here, they probably know I love Dream Theater so I think I should suggest a song of theirs. And I'm gonna go with "Another Day." If you haven't heard DT before it's probably the best introduction. What you get is great lyrics, great melodies, one of LaBrie's finest performances, beautiful keys from Moore, a great sax moment and one of Petrucci's most awe-inspiring solos: http://s41.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1...Y3PWDO7A9FPGXJ |

Don, I mean no disrespect here, but I'll have to say Bomb.
Sounds a little to Styx/Asia for my liking plus it was a little slow and the saxaphone didn't become it. Sorry. I can't include one because thie machine I'm using is acting up. |

haha you don't have to apologise. But yeah, your reason wasn't long enough to go as an offical bomb. Okay I'll suggest another one anyway. This is hard because I don't want to pick a long track and all my favs are at least ten minutes long. I'll go with the instrumental masterpiece: "Acid Rain" by Liquid Tension Experiment. For many, this was the track that got them into prog metal. It features Petrucci and Rudess of DT at near their best and one of my all time favourite drumming (from Portnoy, also from DT) as well.
It's only six minutres (and 128 kbps bit rate) so it shouldn't take long to download: http://download.yousendit.com/0749BC3A58CFD378 |
