wee

woah im 2 years old. geez time goes by. sigh.

i dont like birthdays. very egotistical, telling people to gather to celebrate your own existance and shower you with stuff. im going to argentina, present from ma daddyo. i wouldve thought id be excited, but im not. i dont get excited about anything anymore.

pointless thread? i would say so. lets see how long till it gets closed. im giving it 2 days, tops.

adidasss 02-22-2006 05:03 AM

you're 2 years old? and you're going to argentina? is it your birthday for real? well congrats man!!

SeaShells 02-22-2006 05:24 AM

People who don't like birthdays annoy me. Birthdays are a celebration of life and each one should be cherished for you never know how many you will have. The celebration isn't just about one person. It is about taking the time to be happy and reflect with family/friends.

dog 02-22-2006 05:28 AM

haha celebration of life?? relection??? shut up. i have no respect for you.

SeaShells 02-22-2006 05:33 AM

you know I'm right.

people who say they hate birthdays are just drawing more attention to themselves. Is that not egotistical?

ArtistInTheAmbulance 02-22-2006 05:49 AM

HAPPY SECOND BIRTHDAY.

:)

And birthdays rule, whats not to like? So people are celebrating their lives. Its fun. There's presents and cake =)

i don't like birthdays either, i get really embaressed that people pay special attention to you, not to mention gifts, i hate that....it's really all just very akward....

that's in real life....i don't mind drawing attention to myself on the internet ( showed by birthday thread made by me...:)), because i'm an attention whore......just kidding....it was for a good laugh....

[MERIT] 02-22-2006 08:03 AM

whats bad about ppl being nice to you and giving you presents? how dare they! those slimey bastards!:usehead:

explosions-in-my-pants 02-22-2006 08:22 AM

i don;t like birthday parties.. the whole sitting there with all eyes on you while everyones saying open this, open this.. and then when you don't like the gift you have to "act" all surpirsed and happy about it... cause i mean really whos going to say to whomever you got me this WTF.. haha...

i like the cake part.. but then again every year my mother buys me cake i don't like then i make her feel bad.. then she gets me cheescake :D

anyways for my birthdays sense i was 13 i've been taken out to dinner.. normaly its just me and my mom that go.. but for my 17 b-day my bf at the time took me out.. and she didn't... oh well... she was our waitdress tho :)

happy birthday little dude.. *gives a penny* now don't you spend it all in one place you hear ;)

I say WTF to my presents all the time. Last year, I got stuff like a candy G-string. I mean, who the hell gets that for their best friend? Ah, they are special. I also got a "grow your own woman" too, that was well fun.

I like birthdays. I dont do the traditional thing I guess. I dont sit around a glowing birthday cake while my family sing to me with cheesy smiles and cameras flashing. L'anée derniere, we all went dancing on a train , followed by invading pizza hut and buying everything on the menu.

Great fun. I dont see whats not to like about em. . .

well i never have a problem saying to my mother.. you got me this or that.. because well everytime i do and every time she gets me soemthing so stupid that i do say WTF.. it just proves to me even more what i've been trying to prove to her time and time again.. she doesn't know me....

i like eating ice cream cake and or cheesecake and then pizza every birthday.....:)

You know what's more annoying, people who count down from 2-3 months away. It's like whoop-di-do it's not like the Rolling Stones are coming to hang out on your birthday or anything.

I am neutral to birthdays, I like getting gifts, but really arn't fussed on parties or telling everyone who will listen that I am a year older.

Cheese 02-23-2006 12:12 AM

It's just another day to me

SeaShells 02-23-2006 03:23 AM

I don't like the big countdown either, but I like to treat the day as something special. All life's milestones, big or small, should be celebrated.

i had my first at some point last month. i like birthdays. even if it is a little akward, but...for me at least, its a day that i get to spend with my friends doing something fun. plus, most of my friends just get me gag gifts or money nowadays anyway, so its not like im sitting there in front of them hording gifts.

explosions-in-my-pants 02-23-2006 08:41 AM

no body remembers my birthday every year... all those times my mother takes me out for my birthday is always like a week after the fact.. (she does it out of guilt) and my friends know when my birthday i but they never do anything with it.. one year 17 of us were suppose to go to jungle jims.. and then only ended up with a few of us getting high then going there.. then back to one of our friends house and having a big ass party... that was a good birthday.. it was actaully the only good one i remember having.. that was my 15 birthday :D

MURDER JUNKIE 02-23-2006 08:47 AM

^birthdays are ghey. I have had 31 of them and the only advice I can give is to plan them yourself, people are a letdown and will screw you. At least when you hold all the cards you know what to expect, last year I ordered my own strippers and made my lame-o friends pay for them. I RULE

you do rule.. damn i should do that.. only there are no strippers here.. oh well for my 19th b-day coming in two months i'm going to st.johns (i hope anyways) and going to a strip club and getting a lap dance from some random stripper.. why because i'm stright and it would amuse me.. hehe!..

for my brothers last two birthdays my mother threw him a suprise party.... for his 19th and 20th.. so yea just imagine how forgotten i feel.. bastard.

Levithan 02-23-2006 08:54 AM

Birthdays used to be fun, but the've lost their meaning and importance to me. All I do now is go out and drink...no presents...no celebrating...just beer
