dsl or modem?

which one do you have, if it's dsl, please state your speed and the price you pay ( whether it be flat rate or charged by the amount of data transferred )

500kb/s
13 dollars per month plus 3.3 dollars for every 512 mb of data

( oh and by the way, i think it's expensive given our standard of living, they keep trying to tell us we have one of the cheapest internet services in europe, but it's rediculous to compare our rates to west european, it's not even the same ball park )

Currently after a free upgrade...

...8.1 Mb and all for the same price as previous 1Mb.

God bless capitalist countries.

i may be wrong on this, but i think there is the speed at which your computer can display information, and the speed it can actually download. At the moment, my connection is showing 11mbps, but i know for a fact it doesnt download that fast, i would be able to download an entire movie in a under 10 seconds.

Laces Out Dan! 02-10-2006 02:17 PM

Well why does it say that my connection is 400mbps
