haha, text messaging dorks.
you know what I think is funny, how big text messaging is in Asia, and it’s really funny they have contests to see who can text the fastest; they actually prefer it over talking... what is the world coming to? Here a news link biz.yahoo.com/bw/051214/20051214005365.html?.v%3D1

I'm really really really slow. It's quite bothersome actually. My friends give me hell for it.
and now I stop to consider what kind of friends make fun of someone for their lack of texting skills.

Ah I find texting easy but I can't stand predictive. Even though on a whole it's probably quicker, I hate it when it doesn't have the words I'm looking for and so you have to go back to normal mode to spell it out etc etc. Stoopid phone.
Apparently Asia is the biggest mad house for texting. It was in one of our papers a while back. So many billion sent a year. Which equaled so many million a month which equalled so many million a day, which equalled so many hundred thousands an hour. Which equalled... Basically I think we came to about 27 texts or something being sent per second in Asia. Don't trust that figure, but it was some incredibly high rate per second.

My head hurts just thinking about that. That's actually probably because I have a headache but that's still a damn lot of text messaging. Even my mom does it. I don't think I'll ever own a cell phone though.

yea watergardens (a mall type thing) is full of "text messaging dorks". 90% of the worlds population are hunched over, looking down at a little screen, making little swiggles and happy faces. pisses me off.
