No I mean he was going to allow civil unions. Thats not exactly in line with the homosexual communities agenda. While I don't find civil unions a compramise, I think Kerry was going for one to appease all sides of the union, which in my mind is how a leader should be, as compramising as he can be without getting absurd.

The bottom line is, people are deprived right based on something they did not choose to be. Thats the problem, theres nothing else to say about it except that in a nation that is "equality for all", we need to find a way to fix it.

Maybe they'll just ask you why you feel that way. I mean, I'll assume you don't know Kerry's record, as such, I wonder what made you feel he wasn't qualified?

There is no way in the world the conservative Senate AND the conservative House are both going to vote to impeachment of the President. Only way I can see that happening is if he...maybe lies in front of a Grand Jury or something.

O wait.....

I can't wait for the political bloodpool from Kerry's filibuster on Alito. I almost wish someone else was spearheading it besides him.

Honestly, I didn't really see the appeal of Kerry to the Democrats during the election. Probably among my least favorite of all the primary candidates (besides Lieberman and Clarke) Which by the way has been over for a year now. Time to move on.

I agree I liked Dean alot more, but what you have to understand is that Kerry is a good politician, and just because he got labeled a "flip-flopper" which sounds like aword little children would use, he's not bad at all. His debate skills are impecable, he has served the country in war time, he's had innumerate years in government, he's not savagly liberal.

In the wolr dof politics, thats appealing.

^ I think that was Kerry's biggest advantage over Dean. But, based on the results of the election, I almost want to believe that the Dems would have been better off putting up a neo far left liberal like Dean to combat the far right. Apparently, Democratic stragetists are still planning on moving more towards the middle in 2008 with their candidate, with more religious emphasis. Politics, *shrugs.
