What's it from?

It's by Chet Zar, a surrealist painter around the 1970s who portrays the dark expressions of human behaviour and gives it a twist. Great stuff.

Heh. I just googled his name and realized he's the same guy who did the Charlie Brown painting I had as my previous avatar. Funny!

I've loved that avatar for a while now. One of the best I've ever seen in fact. It has this sorta Halloween feel to it that's just cool.

Cheers, I really like it too. It's a photo of the band Agalloch, with the deer skull they use for percussion being used as a mask. I thought it was pretty cool.
