^I get what you're doing, so cred for consistency! However, that av is small and dark, so you only get a 6/10 I think and that might be being nice. If you want a larger/new avatar, send me a link to the picture and I'll fix it for you. :)

9/10.

Are you a pied piper of sorts, Tore?

Thanks!

To answer your question, not really. The avatar is a rat king which is a rare occurrence when several rats' tails get tangled and part fuse together. There's some evidence that rats have survived like that for quite a while, so appearantly they are able to function like that unless all rat kings were made/fed by rat catchers. Aside from some specimens being preserved in museums and so on, they've appeared in fiction here and there, for example in Terry Pratchett's book Maurice and His Educated Rodents where [SPOILER] the rat king is a collective intelligence/personae with telepathic powers made up of the rats that have their tails tied together.

Here's a picture of a real preserved rat king!

As for rats, I just love the little buggers :D

That's actually very interesting, thank you.

I think the one with the raised head is adorable.

Guybrush 02-11-2011 06:12 PM

I like yours too Pedestrian! 8/10 I'd say ..

Do you have a special fondness for deer? :)

edit :

Can't beat consistency :D
Thanks for the offer man, but I like my avatar that way. Size is based on my own forum (max. size) and MSN messenger :)
I'm actually a well... quite good photographer but I have a rather strange style. I know how to make it bigger and lighter, don't worry :).
Here's some of my photo's to prove that i'm not talking total crap:

It's a piece called Twin Fawns by Peregrine Honig, and I found it particularly beautiful and sad. A taxidermist happened upon their mother, hit by a car on the road, and preserved them as they were in the womb.

EDIT: A mod needs to manually enlarge your photo, SK. I think that's what he meant. I don't think he was suggesting that you don't know how to resize.
