I would like it to be bigger (shut up Batty) but I did like the picture. Pity we're restricted to 175 x 250. Did the best I could.

Most people know that it's a calming technique used by therapists, and I'm sure you've been to one or two in your time - or sent others there due to your actions. Also, because Simpsons.

I think this says more about you than a thousand self-aggrandising posts ever could.

Has The Simpsons been worth watching in a decade? And by now I've seen all the good episodes about fifty times already so I don't particularly need to seek them out.

The Simpsons is continually great. Few dud episodes here and there, but overall it's all quality.

If you like modern Simpsons then you're a ****ing retard. And I'm pretty sure I speak for everyone when I say that.

People who say that haven't seen enough. Do you think the senior writers just forgot how to write jokes?

Bitch I watched the show go steadily downhill for years. I remember in the early/mid-00s when they still had hit-or-miss seasons that were getting worse and worse. And I think they forgot how to write jokes that weren't awkward stereotypes of their old jokes.

I have to say I wouldn't agree with that. I've seen a whole lot of dud episodes in say from season 20 on. It's quite rare that I laugh at a new one. But I think the episode I quoted was relatively classic.

Kind of. In a way. It's certainly lost a lot of its sparkle.

No, but they do seem to think they can churn out any old trash these days. I did like the end of one recent episode (the 500th), which said "Thank you for 500 episodes. All we ask is that you go outside and get some fresh air before logging onto the internet to complain about how much this sucked!" I admire those who can laugh at themselves, and I love the way they continually annoy Fox.

I feel ya. That is the slump where that opinion got popular. They did get better and I'd say that the modern ones are great (although obviously not up to the caliber as the first ten seasons). Watching them and forming an opinion based on that is a good approach imo.
