And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

i'm gonna go with a big nay. thank god calgary is banning smoking in bars starting in 2007. i hate going out and feeling like i have to shower and wash my hair 50 times to get the greasy smoke stink out. one of the things i loved about nz is i could go out to a bar and actually wear the same clothes the next day. here, if i go out, i have to throw my clothes in the washing machine right away when i get home. if i leave them in my room they stink up my entire closet.

I'm suprised some local and state governments passed this bill.
I personally don't care but if you don't want to breathe it int hent he government should protect that right.

Anyone with any major qualms with it should take it up with their congressman / congresswoman.

If people in restaurants smoke in a special area, you don't even slightly have problems with their smokes. And in bars I can't imagine the smoke could get you annoyed... Is it breathing problems or something? Because I have never had problems with smokers in bars.

Some of the time I honestly wonder why smoking in public is more acceptable than masturbating in public, in that they both involve personal sensational pleasure at the annoyance and discomfort of others.

Now, I'm not a fan of either and do neither of them myself... but I percieve the two in a very similar way.

Am I the only person who has made this connection before?

If there are smoking booths, why are there not wanking booths? Or designated self-stimulation areas? More people masturbate than smoke
