False. A drink a fair amount and apparently you hardly need to drink any water to meet your water needs because most foods contain so much water that you get enough just through eating.

^^Thats true? I always thought that sugar dehydrates you..so even though there is water in sode..there is also tons of sugar..so it defeats the purpose..no?

Sugar doesn't dehydrate you. I don't know who says that. Refined sugar itself doesn't contain any water, but even just by the process of respiration (where you take in oxygen, which reacts with sugar to make CO2 and water) your body actually converts sugar to water.
