I think 1% is an EP or mini-album. I definitely have never seen it in stores. Aphex Twin's early ambient techno (Selected Ambient Works 85-92) is very good and like nothing else heard before when it came out. I like his new drill'n'bass/hardcore breakbeat stuff too. The new 26 Mixes For Cash is really wicked. Weak points (in my opinion) are Selected Ambient Works II which is mostly lengthy and downright boring pieces, and Drukqs, which is a double-disc set of brief and weird songs. Definitely pick up the Come To Daddy EP, as that is his most well-known song. Right now I believe Richard D. James (the Aphex Twin) is doing a set of 11 EPs called Analord, which are a throwback to the old-skool acid techno sound (like Didgeridoo II I guess).
Just in case anybody wanted to know. IDM is my favourite. I'm . . . getting excited. I'll just name some stuff I know. Autechre, Orbital, Squarepusher, Luke Vibert, mu-Ziq, Luke Slater, Global Communication, ect. This ranges from beautiful melodic beats to jazz-influenced drill'n'bass, to pummeling drums, and so on. IDM is weird because you never know what it will sound like.

Richard D. James is a ****ing genius, absolutely amazing at what he does. I own "Drukqs", "Selected Ambient Works Vol. I and II", "Richard D. James Album", "26 Mixes For Cash" and "I Care Because You Do". Honestly, I don't ever think I've heard a bad track on any of them. I must admit, I'm not too keen on 'I Care Because You Do', but, my favourite album from Aphex is probably 'Drukqs'. Fantastic record.

I have 11 Aphex Twin cd's counting a Polygon Window EP and they're all great! I like the Richard D. James Album best I think. He creates the weirdest and most beautiful sounds..
