^ it's the only movie i've honestly WANTED to see for the last 10 years hahaha on top of that according to William Gibson, Cunningham is his ONLY choice for directing.

instead we get endless Harry Potter and Twilight sequels

I couldnt say which album is best, but everyone whos into electonic music should try out each of his albums because all his music altogether is really verry diverce.

as mentioned ,some stuff is just noisy abstractisme but at the other hand this artist has made some of the most beautifull music ever

so it's not like he's jumping into things without having been fully involved and immersed for a few years.

also remember hearing rumors back when i was in college around 2000 that Cunningham had been pegged to direct an adaptation of Neuromancer as some sort of sequel / prequel to Blade Runner with Aphex Twin being the obvious choice for an original soundtrack. never happened though, apparently the studios refused to give him final approval on edits.
That would be weird, basing a sequel to a film adaptation of a book on a book by a different author.

Default Aphex Twin

I can't help but listen to Selected Ambient Works Volume 1 over and over again. It was inspirational when I was writing electronic music. One of the best stickers I've ever seen on album was for Selected Ambient Works Volume 2 where it said that it would be the music that the monolith from 2001 would play. It thought it was brilliant and never more accurate

Looks like he's too cool to release his last 6 albums.
Aphex Twin 'has six albums' of new material, but will we hear them? | Music | guardian.co.uk
