Brian Eno must be spinning in his grave over this guy from what I've heard of his sounds. Admitedly that's only one piece called Blue Calx.

way to judge a book by its binding and not even bothering to look at the freaking cover.

there's no denying Eno had an influence on AT.

but does THIS actually sound like Eno?

Not to mention that Mt. Saint Michel is an epic song. One of Aphex Twin's best songs, IMO.

Yeah it's definitely a top song.

as far as i know he does the animating as well. Cunningham has worked closely with AT for decades now. you can see the progress on the 'Aphex Face Technology' (for lack of better terms) in the 4 or so years between the 'Come to Daddy' and 'Windowlicker' clips.

so it's not like he's jumping into things without having been fully involved and immersed for a few years.

also remember hearing rumors back when i was in college around 2000 that Cunningham had been pegged to direct an adaptation of Neuromancer as some sort of sequel / prequel to Blade Runner with Aphex Twin being the obvious choice for an original soundtrack. never happened though, apparently the studios refused to give him final approval on edits.
