The Crystal Method
I love this group, they've been pretty general electronic up until their last album (Legion of Boom).. which to me sounds a bit more Alternative? i dont know where I got this from just listening to the track "Born Too Slow" I came across the thought. Awesome group though, they've managed to do what I always admire, come across with original, catchy beats, and manage to intertwine some resonable lyrical value, which is excellent. I think all Electronica should have lyrics..... one day, when i'm and electronica recording artists all of my songs will have words..
Seriously though I'm learning how to assemble my own beats. ANYWAYS back on topic what are your thoughts on The Crystal Method??

I like CM... I really think they are one of the best eletronic groups in my mind.... except maybe Prodigy. I have the CD and think it rocks but what I really love are all the remixes they do. I have a running collection of music they have redone such as POD, Rage Against the Machine, Garbage, and a crap load of Filter. The remixes rock!

Yeah I have a CM remix of Boom by POD, its quite excellent.. I was never really sure whether CM themselves made them or if they were just mixed with Crystal Method Songs in the backround...

I know this is an old thread but I had to post because Scott Kirkland of the Crystal Method was one of my best friends in high school. We went to all of the 80's metal concerts together when we were in 9th and 10th grade. Our high school reunion is coming up this year. He was a cool guy. I remember hanging out with him at his house. We both grew up in Vegas. He took guitar lessons from Mark Slaughter from the 80's band Slaughter. We were into 80's metal like Queensryche and Metallica so it was strange to me that he chose to do electronica. I saw him in concert and he was amazing and so was his buddy Ken Jordan. I have great memories of Scott, especially from high school Spanish class.
