Serious Question About Electronic Music
I've always loved electronic music, from New Wave to EBM/EDM to Industrial, Trance, Rave, and more.
So... I wrote lots of song lyrics. Now how do I make the music? I have no instruments, no recording studio, no microphones, no software, etc. I would really love to just team up with great artists, and do something as a team, and I don't even have to be the singer. Anyway, I tried writing to record labels, to artists, and even the popular talented people on YouTube, and never got any replies. Seems like musicians and anyone already making music, only cares about what they are doing, and they appear to look down on anyone in my position where all I have are lyrics. Any advice? Anyone make music and might want to work together? Does anyone know anyone important? |

There's more than one way to skin a cat. You have to do research to see what would work better for you. Like if just a midi (midi-keyboard or launch pad) and software will do everything you need to do in your bedroom with your computer. Or whether you want hardware equipment like a synthesizer, keyboard or groovebox something hands-on you can play with in the creative process or use when you play live.
