KOAN sound
... My nephew introduced me to "KOAN sound" by way of "The Adventures of Mr. Fox" which have a really nice funky vibe... Then I came across KOAN (still capitalized but without the "sound"), and I was wondering whether there was any affiliation?
I prefer the funk of KOAN sound to the ethereal nature of KOAN, but there seem to be a lot of similarities. I'm new to electronica in general and was just curious. For anyone interested, Here's some of the tracks from "Adventures of Mr. Fox" (I am posting the originals, not the remixes)... I love the transitions in this song ("Eastern Thug") Ironically, I actually accidentally heard this song ("80's fitness") for the first time *while* working out: This one ("Introvert") reminds me of rain, for some reason: And of course, I can't rightfully post all the "Fox" tracks without including "Sly Fox"...this might be the most funkadelic of them all... |
It's different groups..
KOAN Sound - UK based, Will Weeks and Jim Bastow (https://www.facebook.com/koansound) KOAN - Russia based, Daniel Roeth and William Grey (https://www.facebook.com/koantunes) I enjoy both. |

Anybody have an opinion about these two bands? My initial reaction is, "Why didn't you do a google search before you chose a band name?" |
I miss Chelsea. :(

^ Yeah, she was nice. She was from Australia wasn't she? I'm guessing she asked for her account to be disabled; she wasn't a trouble-maker.

She was from the US.
And yeah, self-requested. |
