New album is pretty shitty minus a couple of songs which are spectacular. The album just seems too crowded with guest artists, and not even very good ones ie Snoop Dogg. Also the beats on the album seem so lackluster and at time awfully generic.

In my opinion Plastic Beach is just as good as Demon Days. It is definitely better than Gorillaz the debut album because it only had a few good songs on it.
My Favourite tracks: Revolving Doors, Plastic Beach, Melancholy Hill, El Manana and Kids with guns. I would not really classify them as being Electronica although I have no idea where I would put them.

I like everything the Gorillaz have put out. At first, Plastic Beach threw me off a bit because the beginning of the album is very poppy, but the end of the album is excellent and I grew to like the beginning. I don't think categorizing bands really has much importance, especially a group that encompasses such a wide scope as the Gorillaz. So to the threadstarter: stop being such a ****.
