I’m a big fan of massive attack apart from the last track on one of their albums which is just awful.
As to ’not your thing’, I’d be the first to confess not all our preferences make sense. I’ve had, for instance, a loathing for Dixieland Jazz since a young thing. Rather listen to someone running their fingernails over sandpaper but I can't explain why. On the other hand I can understand why so many people can’t tolerate classical music. Unless raised on a diet of nothing else like me it’s not an easy form to get into, especially as most people today have an attention span no longer than 3.mins 24 secs. |

Dengue Dengue Dengue mix electronica with Peruvian percussion: a great combination for the first half of this album, but then it all seems to run out of steam for the not-so-interesting second half:
