Getting into the Progressive House genre

Hey- feel free to move this thread as per how you see fit.

I've been listening to a lot of the music TYSN uploads on youtube and was reading their blog today while getting baked today. A lot of the producer's are 17-25 years old.

I'm 19 and have only picked up on progressive house within the last year; is it at all feasible for me to start producing or at least mixing and playing around with tracks? And if so, what equipment&softwares/programs do I need to pick up?

Any constructive advice would be much appreciated!

I don't make music, I listen. So, can't help you there. Equipment wise.

But:

?

Study, learn.

I'm a prog house fan. I can recommend the DJ compilations by Global Underground (who have now gone bust), they were huge a few years ago.
