Help a noobie out?
I've decided I want to make my own music electronically, with synths and drums, but I want to start with a basic software.
What would be a good software for a noob to start with? Appreciate the help :dj: |
I use Cubase, cost around $250 USD when I got it I think. Any sequencer would do, really. At least to get you started out. Make sure you check your computer's specs regardless of the software you're interested in purchasing (or stealing, w/e).

Cubase is good software, Also I like Fruity Loops Studio. I use FL for all my electronic projects.

Fruity Loops is simple, great and it's cheap, that's your first shot. Also, lots of tutorials on youtube :)

Just sample a LIVE drum bit.

RE: Help a noobie out?
Hey,
I use FL Studio, always have. Started using it like 6 years ago and once you learn the percs and true advantages of it, you will never go to anything else. I started using demo version, then i bought the cheapest, then producer edition, then i was hooked. It just produces the sound i want, hard to explain. It's like eating an apple and not craving an orange, if you know what i mean... Soundcloud: Sweed |
I'd look around at free trails. you end up stick to what you learned for a least a few years cause you cant be bothered with learning again. These days the big ones have tons of tutorials so maybe check them out too and see if you like the "teachers"
