I like what I've heard so far but I'm not knowledgeable enough to call myself a fan of it though.

I think it's a fairly young genre so there isn't a lot of consensus on what exactly Deep House sounds like, but from talking with other fans of electronic music it seems to be split primarily between dancy & club-oriented house but with deeper and darker sounds (a la the Disclosure remix and Julio Bashmore song above) and a less danceable sound rooted in glitch, IDM, and microhouse (like Floating Points and Efdemin). I enjoy both sides of the coin. |

I love House & Deep House. I used to listen to Deep House radio on di.fm all the time in high school. Verrrrrryyyy sexy.
That first track you posted is sooo Istanbul at 5am. I probably even danced to it last night. |

The definition of Deep House has changed compared to what Deep House was in the 90s. Your definition says it fuses elements of Chicago house, jazz-funk, and Detroit techno but all I hear in the tracks you shared is Techno.
Basically what you just shared is Deep Tech according to my definition of Deep House but today that is what people call deep house which is cool anyway Which deep house tunes would you recommend that have Jazz-Funk elements?? |

A few of my favorites:
The Other People Place "Sorrow and a Cup of Joe". From the late James Stinson of Drexciya Love the reggae-dub in "The Poem" from Bobby Konders. Claptone's "No Eyes". Really love this one. |

RVCA! How you been?
Deep house is the way forward. I mostly listen to it at parties so don't know many track names or artists. Loving stuff like this though, so chilled out. Personally makes me feel literally amazing but then I have ingested a cocktail of alcohol and drugs.
