Finally getting around to listening to Museum Of Consciousness and I'm really enjoying it, definitely more than Ineffable Mysteries From Shpongleland.
|
It's an interesting album. I adored it the first few times I heard it and, though I still like it a lot, I think it's probably the weakest Shpongle album. But again, I still think it's great. And I'm pleased it's different to the other albums.

I love Shpongle!

Yeah I'm getting into them. First I downloaded Tales of the Inexpressible, was incredibly impressed, then downloaded the rest of their discography. Man I can see a bunch of different colours in my head while listening to them. Ineffable Mysteries of Shpongleland and Nothing Lasts... But Nothing is Lost takes the biggest pieces of the cake for me. Listening to Museums of Consciousness as I type, so far so good.
Kind of surprised I never heard of these guys before. |

Intereresting, fun and relaxed interview with Simon Posford and Raja Ram - the musicians behind the brilliant Shpongle:
And another, with Raja Ram on his own: |
I clicked the auto-generated link to Simon Posford in the post above (which gives info from Wikipedia) and it states that Simon Posford has toured India twice. But he hasn't. He says as much in the interview in the same post above.
Just goes to show, Wikipedia isn't always reliable. Oh well. Let's have a tune. Ineffable Mysteries: |
