The Grime thread
This is a thread for Grime. Recommendations, vocals, instrumentals, sets, mixes, whatever. (If you're not familiar with it, it's a UK electronic genre taking it's main influences from Hip-Hop and it's predecessor UK Garage plus a few others bits here and there. It's main characteristics are energy and aggression, see here):
Lethal Bizzle - Forward - YouTube RAPID from Ruff Sqwad's 'GO' MUSIC VIDEO!!! - YouTube Spooky -- Spartan - YouTube I am not sure if anybody at all on here likes Grime so I may be talking to myself in this thread. However I will keep this updated with all the best releases, instrumental and vocal, for the coming year, starting with this single from Grime legend and ex Roll Deep member, Trim, 'Sat Nav Walking': https://soundcloud.com/braindeadentu...alking-prod-by |

Wiley taking his 2012 work rate into 2013, two tracks already this year, the hook needed more work but Wiley's verses are as good as they've ever been:

Footsie's instrumental CD finally out on February 11th: Footsie - King Original Vol. 1 (Instrumentals 2004 - 2006) [Braindead Entertainment] Full of bangers from 2004-2006. An absolute classic. Standout tracks - Hit It, It'z War, Arnie, Shower Hour and Scarz Remix. Footsie's beats are always so dark: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVZnRHFyN3M |

Treddin' On Thin Ice 2nd Phaze Race Against Time Playtime is Over Grime Wave Are his Grime albums and all worth a listen definitely (PM me if you want them). Avoid: See Clear Now Evolve or Be Extinct The Ascent Unless you like his pop stuff. 100% Publishing was kinda in the middle of the two. Actually just realised if you liked those tracks I posted definitely don't bother with his pop stuff. |
