Dubstep is (OK, was) underground
The thing is tho Skrillex brought more attention to Dubstep then any other artist in the genre, definetly brought it mainstream

Not to Dubstep he didn't, maybe the use of the term "Dubstep" but not the music itself. I know people who listen to Skrillex and consider themselves to be Dubstep fans but wouldn't be able to tell you who Benga is or what the Big Apple Records shop was.

Skrillex fans are Skrillex fans, not really fans of Dubstep, in my opinion.

There's a similar thing with JME and Grime music.

The first song out of Benga's new album is a killer,it's called "Yellow".Sounds like GrandMaster Flash's The Message, but in a modern way.

Virtual Riot is my favorite producer + he's underrated af.

If you're looking for a sick ass drop, check out Blackout by him (Virtual Riot). It's not my favorite by him considering I love literally all of his songs. If you check out his SoundCloud he has a preview of all the songs on his new mix that'll be released on the 20th. Also, he has the best EDM Mashup on his SoundCloud/Youtube as well.

I'll also mention Ry Legit and xKore although I don't listen to them anymore :/
