What do you think of Moby?
I don't know too much about his music. Actually I'm listening to him for the first time as I write this post. I know he's considered popular, but I wanted to know what you guys thought of him.
By the way, I'm listening to Moby's "Honey". |

Yeah for the most part I agree. Before the release of
"Play" he was at his peak. After that he started to sell all his songs to commercials. He has played a huge influence on mainstream electronica. I actually found out that when he was in his teenage years he was part of a punk outfit, which is pretty cool. I think he is musically well rounded. "in this world" is one of his better new songs.

Was Moby in a punk band? Was the band any good? The only thing I liked by Moby was his cover of Mission of Burma's "Revolver". That song kicks ass. I think he did a good version IMO. I think he's a talented guy, but I'm not into his music. I would probably like his earlier stuff. His commerical stuff just sucks.

Yeah i like him. He is a very talented dude. Its true he did start in a punk band but i don't know what they were called
I like the Play album the best, Its mad to chill too. I also like how he uses old old blues samples in his music on that album. That song "go" is also mad.
