Emilie Autumn!!!
 

Okay, so basically: Emilie Autumn is one of my favourite artists ever! She describes her music as "victoriandustrial", which is a cross between Victorian and industrial. Her first musical album with vocals (as her previous CDs were either poetry or instrumental violin/piano pieces) didn't have as much electronic stuff - save songs like Juliet - but the second, Opheliac, definitely had more techno-ish beats and industrial stuff.
She's like marmite, you either love or hate her, but I love her. Please check her out!! :)
Search her songs Opheliac, I Know Where You Sleep and Juliet on YouTube. They're very good :D

I love everything from Opheliac, a couple from Enchant, and a few from FLAG.
She's so different... I like her.

Thanks a million for this post, neondemon! It is so very rarely that someone posts an artist recommendation, I actually look into it, and I am amazed/surprised/in love. Will be listening heavily to this over the next few days. :)
