My answer to that quiz might be "You've stayed New Wave Too Long!" featuring post-big hit 80's tracks, some great ("Yesterday's Men" - Madness) others dreadful ("Ink and Paper" - Modern English). You know I'm going by personal memories, as I seriously did, although a group of Hardcore Punk friends got me moving on.

The garbage put out by Madonna, Michael Jackson and Hair Metal (and a few other culprits) really marred a decade which started out totally brilliant with New Wave, Post Punk and Minimal Synth.
