Default It's Purple Sound Week!

I've honestly never heard of this subgenre before, or any of the artists featured in that RYM article. The only album I can think of as "wonky" is the artist Tipper and his 2008 album Wobble Factor, but I think I may be confusing the genres.



So maybe this?

This actually sounds really interesting, especially the G Funk/general funk element.

^I don't think anybody did. I think it was what was on the calendar next. However, it looks like Electroclash is the active theme right now.

I know it's from the calendar, but the calendar was created by people nominating genres. I was wondering if whoever nominated it is still around and if they have any suggestions of artists for this genre.

Ahh. I wasn't aware of that. My mistake.

Though, it seems like an interesting genre. Be it, not a lot of people have heard of it.
