Love 'em. But they're Scottish, not British. So why are they called "Boards of Canada," not "Boards of Scotland"?
![]() Good atmospheric stuff and I love the weird 1970s documentary type retro synths they use, that lo-fi sound. Sixtyniner is probably my favourite track of theirs... Geogaddi & Children & both excellent albums, heavy on atmospherics... ~ josh

indeed. it's been my sleep album of choice for a few weeks now. 'geogaddi' put me to sleep for most of 2008 hehe.
don't overlook their eps, particularly 'twoism' and 'a beautiful place out in the country'. their latest stuff is almost moving in an 'air' direction with the incorporation of real guitars into some tracks, it still definitely sounds BoC though. |
