I like stuff like Aphex Twin, Carbon Based Lifeforms, Boards of Canada and Deadmau5' early prog house stuff.

I think you'd probably enjoy the older stuff from the 90s (or anything before 2000) more than what's coming out nowadays.

It's hard to say specific artists, since I usually go by song and not by entire output or album. For example, on my iPhone in the Trance section, I have 62 artists and 67 songs. I think it'd probably be best to download compilations, which is how I started. You might even like new stuff, but that would be so much harder to suggest considering how much I have. I wouldn't know where to start. I did upload a few .RARs of stuff that I posted a few pages back, so you're free to download those! Hopefully someone else will chime in and maybe help you out a bit more.

Since this thread has more life, here's a few favorites from over the years.

I could post a LOT more, so I'll just stop there.

Excellent call! Both of those were featured on one of the first Trance albums I was ever exposed to (Moonshine Trance Classics).

Ahh cool cool! I've also kind of gone backwards. I think there's some good new tracks, but a lot of it seems to be copying each other, which is rather disappointing.

Hey, just listened to a couple of your recommendations and I really dig them, especially Sunset on Ibiza. Gonna have to get an album.

Excellent! Yeah that one is a personal favorite of mine. That was one of the very first Trance songs I ever downloaded. So much history. I think it's been around 9-10 years since I started listening to it.

I'm a bit late for this party but here is my contribution. I don't know if many of you know this but I am a huge Trance fan, in fact it's one of my favourite Electronica sub genres. I have loads of albums particularly complilations like Ultimate Trance and God's Kitchen.

Must haves:

<- Pure sex.

<- The trance here makes me want to come inside. At 3.15 I blew my load at the insanity.

I'm sorry but listening to this all night gets me very horny.

If anyone needs further recommendation, particularly to early 90's trance I will be pleased to help.

Forgot about this little belter:

The ambient mix is really good too and I probably prefer it.
