I like his heavy dubstep bits - I despise everything in between.

He's pretty good IMO, but I wouldn't rank him at the top of the list.

By the way, has anyone heard the new EP? He's his changing style to say the least.

There was one more song ("Scary Bolly Dub"), but it was a "****ing Die" and "Scary Monsters" mashup that was originally meant for his live sets, as opposed to new material that shows a new direction. The EP is his best work in my opinion, but it kicks the **** out of Bangarang. If this is just a three-song teaser (which were never as good as the essentially-full-lengths with the exection of Gypsyhook, which was before he took the "Skrillex" stage name,) then I'm just hoping he might one day top Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites. Maybe I'm too optimistic.

Wink

I discovered Skrillex when they colab'd with KORN. I LOOOOOVE the song Get Up they did. I had never heard of skrillex before that. I really do not care for anything else by skrillex.

I would like to hear something by Skrillex as good as "The private psychedelic reel" or "Windowlicker".....not to mention "Alive 2007" by Daft Punk

I wouldn't really say it translates very easily to compare them.

^Bingo. Comparing Skrillex to Aphex Twin is like comparing Bob Dylan to Rage Against The Machine.
