Rusko is actually considered the progenitor of this "Brostep", and even claimed to feel guilty for starting it all.

I think his rhythm is too random and theres no structure to his music. Dont get me wrong, some songs are pretty good (Cinema, Bangarang, Still Getting It, etc) but some songs aren't great.
His songs are all in 4 4 like anybody else's and they definatly have a pretty strait foreword verse chorus verse chorus structure. Also for me it's a Yay, love the guy.

All I hear with Skrillex is the sound that I would hear if my speakers were malfunctioning from listening to music too loud.

Unfortunately a Nay, he seems to be extremely popular though. Then again, I'm not much a fan of Dubstep anyways.

I am not really a big fan of him especially with his new stuff. He maybe has one or two songs I like.

I think he's decent. Summit is probably my favorite song of his.

Default Yay

I think he is an awesome artist. But more importantly a great performer. He hypes the crowd like i have never seen. I have seen him four times and he gets better everytime.

Does anyone know where i could download his set from camp bisco XI. I was there and it was the best show i have ever seen. I am looking for the audio file somewhere but cant find it. Can someone help?

Yay for me...When I'm in a Dubstep-type mood, I'll listen to Skrillex. I prefer something like First of the Year (Equinox).

I blame Skrillex for this.
This somewhat is what I think after checking out a couple of tracks. He just got a "Nerd/Hip" image that attracts while the Directors of the videos know how to sell the music. Hip-Lite sold very well. The Music, however, leaves a lot to be desired. I like well-produced Dance at times, but it seems that there's more image than creativity going on.

Neither Yea or Nay, just Meh. May be better than Bieber for the Pop world, but it's still the same level of entertaining - not much. Just my first impression opinion for now.

(Sorry for the Million Edits...just getting back into listning to some Dance music after years of being away from it. Need to know more, though...)
