A Bit Like a Nice Burger
Awesome for a few minutes. Wouldn't eat one daily.

He's great at what he does, which is Dubstep for American rock kids.
But I'll stick to Hyperdub, Hessle Audio and Planet Mu labels, thank you very much. |

He's bare able just not my cup of tea.
|
Nay, a load of trashy noise imo.
|
He's not bad. Most of his music just seems so conventional and tired to me, though. I need something a little more experimental.
|
He's not good by any means, but there's far worse out there. He's one of the punching bags of the music industry these days, it seems, along with Nickelback and Justin Bieber.
4/10, would not bang. |
For most of his songs... If you've heard one you've heard them all. I like some of his songs that are different from his simple BOWWWOWW REEPREEEP stuff that is in most of his songs. I'd say may. On the fence.

I still don't know how I feel about Skrillex, I feel like he's quite boring although his songs are so busy. Probably because there's no major differences in style. I do think I'll keep giving him a chance though.
|
My problem with him is that he gives dubstep a bad name, namely because recognize his "music" as dubstep. I've heard some of the original underground dubstep though, the one that's been based off reggae, now that is actually something that I can listen to while saying: "Hey look, this is music."
As As for his attitude and appearance; not fond of it. He's quite a douche, it seems, and I think he tries too hard to have his own style even though his music is massive earrape. I'd rather listen to screamo than his earrapers. |
