Consider it done BB.

Here is some minimalistic dubstep first off:

Plastician

Chris Reed, also known as Plastician (formerly Plasticman), is a Dubstep, Grime DJ from Thornton Heath in the London Borough of Croydon.

Mt Eden Dubstep <-New Zealand represent!!!

Mt Eden (formerly Mt Eden Dubstep) is a New Zealand Dubstep production duo consisting of Jesse Cooper and Harley Rayner.

Truth <-New Zealand represent!!!

Sonic architects of songs with an emotional heft as heavy as the subwoofer rupturing basslines that underpin their work, Truth are one of New Zealand's finest creative exports. Respected across the globe, since inception several years ago, Truth (Andre Fernandez and Tristan Roake) have, as both world-class producers and party-rocking DJs, cut a clear pathway through the international dubstep scene.

Anyone mentioned the new Mala & Submotion Orchestra albums? They are both excellent and offer a different side of dubstep with none of the crappy American 'brostep' that's so popular right now

I used to be. Ministry of Sound/Dubstep is the biggest thing here, 95% of the music scene. It's everywhere. Main offices are in London and Sydney. So maybe I have something to contribute to this topic after all if anyone wants a taste of how we do it down here. Just need to dig up those records.

It's just not to my taste anymore, but I'm trying to keep an open mind by asking for recs.
