point well made, but compared to their other material, i just dont think it reaches that level- bar unfinished symphony of course.

I disagree. While Mezzanine is great, so are Blue Lines and Protection. Those albums just bring different vibes. I totally get a preference for Mezzanine, but Massive Attack has rarely missed.
