I'd actually be on the fence with that one. In terms of just being well made Mezz is top by far but Blue Lines has Tricky and Heligoland is probably their most entertaining for me to listen to.

If you want some easy listenable songs go for Blue Lines, but Mezzanine is their best.

Any of the first three Massive Attack albums are good. Blue Lines is my personal fav, finally saw them a few years ago, they hadn't been to Vancouver Canada since 1995!!!.....that was a long wait.

I'd have to say Mezzanine, although Blue Lines cuts a close second. I think Angel just tips it for Mezzanine, quality song.

The only Massive Attack worth listening to is the stuff with Tricky, and maybe Mezzanine. I prefer Tricky's solo work to anything Post-Tricky from Massive Attack. In fact, I just listened to Maxinquaye.

Definitely Mezzanine. Whenever I'm talking to someone who is sceptical about electronic music I just tell them to listen to Mezzanine. I love Blue Lines and it is my second favourite Massive Attack album, but to me it feels more like a collection of great songs rather than a complete album. The way the tracks sit together on Mezzanine feels perfect and the album just flows perfectly from start to finish.

Mezzanine is the absolute shit. Damn near perfection.

I must be trippin', Mezzanine is maybe better than anything Tricky's ever done. Maxinque and Blue Lines included.

That's the annoying thing with music, sometimes you just listen to something, it goes past you for whatever reason and because there's so much of it that you never bother to return.
