Most Annoying Dance Tune You Cannot Get Out Of Your Head
I am not an expert on Dance Music. I like a lot of songs and I have a few decent (non commercial) DJ mixes but in a predominantly one track only world (as opposed to many artists releasing full albums) I hear many tracks that I really like in mixes and then don't have a clue who the artist is etc and never get to hear it again.
Now and again I do hear a track that receives a lot more airplay than the average track and no matter how hard you try, you cannot get it out of your head. Post 'em bitches and say why. The video first. This is a cool video I have to say. You have the Cuban inspired traditional sound manipulated to a ridiculously catchy hook which dance music thrives on. Get out of my head!!!!!! more to come or maybe not if no one reads it

Ever since I hear this damn song about 6-7 years ago, it has forever been in my head and played at the most random times. Scary thing is, I actually find myself doing sometype of cowboy step dance. Apparently this song has been out long before this version came out, but this is just a catchy song. Up until the female vocals, which I can truthfully say that without them this song would be perfect. (Yes I said it, you may throw rocks at me)
By the way jackhammer, that song kicks ass. It was one of my favorite songs to listen to in 2010, but it began to be ridiculously overplayed near the end of the year to the point where it did indeed get annoying. Last edited by Insane Guest; 01-05-2011 at 08:42 PM. |

As far as the being old goes, yeah, it's very, very old. Old enough that I'm pretty sure it's considered a traditional folk song with no particular composer associated with it. |

Here's one from me... "Mundian To Bach Ke" by Panjabi MC
I'm sure most of you have heard this one a million times, but it's still an incredibly catchy dance track. And combining Indian folky music with the theme from Knight Rider is such a weird juxtaposition it really blows my mind that it works so well. |

Not dance, but it won't leave my head. It's horrible.
In the morning I'm sure I'll get some ideas for some real Dance stuff. I'm mainly doing this out of spite. It won't leave my head, so now I want others to be infected. |

I'm embarrassed to say that I like this song but it's been stuck in my head lately.
It's really the chorus that does it for me. When I first heard it, I thought the female was asian for some reason. He's from South Africa but his accent makes me think russian or maybe I just don't recognize russian accents. he has this line about skywalking like a ninja. I'm like wtf...what does star wars have to do with being a ninja lol. and he's all up on the interwebs, his words not mines. |
