Well, I've been listening to electronic music for approximately 14 years, so I definitely don't hate by virtue of not liking the genre. I just don't find Autechre as interesting as other IDM acts.

But then again, I'm from louisiana... and my Cajun French pronunciation of things like "Benoit" (Bin-wah) absolutely paralyze people who aren't used to it.

IDM is kind of an umbrella term for lots of things. I've heard some EBM bands be called IDM before
