I thought it was actually the other way round and Laura Branigan covered them?

Here's another cover of an Italian italo disco song, this time one by Michael Fortunati. The cover is by a Japanese group called BaBe.

The 80s is easily the best dance era for me, the whole decade was full of danceable music.
