I'm looking for remixes of older music, mostly 80's & earlier. It can be newer but I'm going for an old-school sound.

What I really DON'T want is house, techno or anything with that repetitive thom-thom-thom beat - it's gotta be more creative than just tacking a beat onto someone else's song.

So I like remixes, but I don't have that many because I don't really know where to get them or where to go to see which ones have been released..

Is there a definitive place to get new remixes?

and I'm kind of a budding audiophile, so HQ would be a huge bonus

Generally you'll find remixes in all the same places you find singles. I.E. Beatport or straight from digital labels or other digital outlets. But if you just want to casually search around for remixes of a particular song to become aware of, the easiest thing to do is add the word "remix" on the end of your search query on Youtube or what have you, and find ones you like.

It might just be because i love the original so much.. but this is great!

Anyway I posted it because it's what I was listening to while watching some of his tutorials on Rob Papen Blue and Albino3.... still haven't begun to crack how these oscillators and filters work really. :o:

I've been working mostly on wobbles and haven't got far, but have also been playing around with Edison and the Fruity Slicer.... but have yet to figure out how to cut only the parts I want out of a sound wave.... so I need singing, just singing.
