That's really good stuff. And the music is good too
I've just been getting into Deadmau5...I've always been a bit slow with this scene. I'm liking what I'm hearing, though.

Deadmau5
He's a crazy bastard that mau5.
I've seen him twice live, he sucks, and i met him in person at club Muzique in Montreal. Here's a pic of me and him (hopefully this worked) Joel is a producer, not a DJ. He's got some really bumpin' **** though, and very diverse style. He also knows how to market himself very well. If you want to create your own deadmau5 shirt, go to wordans.com. You can find a bunch of awesome designs there of musicians and artists. What's cool is you can create a custom t-shirt really easily, and sell your own online and make some money! If you're creative, funny and you want to make some easy money, I recommend checking it out. Oh yea, here are my favorite deadmau5 tracks: -hey baby (feat mellee fresh) -catbread -not exactly -everything after -reward is more cheese -faxing berlin -Wordans |

I'm jealous you've seen him twice live and met him. I'm resentful that you think he sucks.

Initially, I despised the dude. Once I got into some proper stuff (courtesy of a real cool guy) I started to dig it. Strobe is a mad song.
Although, I don't really think Deadmau5 is as unique as a lot of people claim he is. No doubt about the fact that his non-conventional musical upbringing has a lot to do with the way he administers those touches on his songs. He doesn't quite think like your average electronic DJ/Producer. Also, yeah, another point, I've seen some live clips of the guy. He's not bad, but like somebody else said, he's a producer before he's a DJ. Oh and yeah, just joined the forums today. Been listening to electronic on and off for ages. Actively got into it since a couple of months. I listen to a lot of rock subgenres too. It's good exposing myself to all kinds of stuff as a musician. Electronic music really teaches you how to smoothen your tracks. =) |

Has anyone seen what he looked like back in the day? Haha. I'm guessing he used to do a lot of raving. I still don't get much out of his productions. My friend Johnny praised him but once he downloaded everything and such he was able to get rid of 90% of it and only leave the stuff that sounded original.
