The mau is dead. Track after track is exactly the same. His attempt at dubstep in one of his tunes disgusted me. If I ever get the chance to meet him again I will be sick in his face. The man is just taking advantage of a retarded generation who will buy anything and love anything he puts out.

I've only recently heard of this artist, this remixed version of Ghost's N Stuff is pretty good though. I'm not sure who deserves the credit in this track though, everything Nero touches turns to gold it seems, and I definitely don't think the original is anything special on it's own. So I guess that sums up how I feel about Deadmau5... but this track will be on my roatation for a while.

I think that people who hate deadmau5, hate him because he's popular, at least for the style of music. Me personally, I ****ing love deadmau5! =D

That is in a sense true for me, but it is really only because he is popular AND repetitive/unoriginal/onlypopularbecauseofahugeledmousehead. I could make almost everything he does (not trying to brag just trying to make my point of how unskilled he is). If he was really good and popular I would have no problem because he would deserve the popularity. Sadly, almost all popular music is complete ****.

He puts out music which builds up at exactly the same point with the same sound and people lap it up despite it being terrible. His dub step attempt was a disgrace and people lap it up because they know **** all about the genre and are just interested in having their wallets and their minds ****ed by a man taking advantage of a retarded generation.

Hate to break it to you but just about every artist in the genre ends up sounding repetitive at a certain point. It comes with the territory...once you pick a specific subgenre like house or trance, you've put yourself in a box. The innovators of electronic music can't be classified that way...you can really only call their music electronic. Those guys are the innovators.
That being said, I like Deadmau5. I don't want to listen to a whole album, but it's no different with anyone else in the genre. I would see him live, though.

Deadmau5 is in my dad's town right now, and he was going to go, but apparently, the tickets are 100$ canadian! I like deadmau5, but that's really expensive.
