I got into them around the time that fat of the land came out and I liked the next album after that Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned

but I haven't checked out their first two albums to see how much they differ to their two more popular releases.

Always Out Numbered, Never Out Gunned is the best album of theirs IMO.

Most critics and even the band themselves have distanced themselves from this album. I really don't know why other than the fact that is virtually a Liam Howlett solo album. There is some fantastic stuff on there and it is one of the few albums that genuinely scream 'play me as loud as damn possible'.

Tell me about it! I always pump Hotride and Spitfire really loud! Totally banging classics if you ask me.

This really does it for me from that album. The bassline is quite simply bed rumbling.

This is just sublime.

This is the reason I respect your musical taste so much, you don't go by what critics say is 'good' music and develop your own opinions.
