I was about to recommend DJ Shadow actually. Entroducing... is a classic album that everyone should listen to at least once, the whole thing was done with samples. Also, I'd highly recommend Xploding Plastix, it's sort of nu jazz/big band done electronic style. It's really cool, trippy at times, sometimes sounding like updated Chicago gangster music, and sometimes just some dark futuristic jazz stuff.

We should post more of our fave chillout tunes. No Trip Hop, no ambient- just chilled out tunes that make us wish we were on a beach miles away from where we are at.

Love that bassline and the horn section.

Superb version of the disco classic.

That picture is so apt.

I absolutely love the vibe of this track.

Vocals by the lovely Lou Rhodes (Lamb)

Lets do it. Though I'm afraid most of my downtempo/chill music is probably trip hop. The genre line gets confusing at times.

More faves:

I don't speak too much French but it sounds seductive enough to me.

The best version for me. A cliched choice but so good.

It just sounds like you have landed in a Mediterranean village and you are the only one awake whilst the locals are having a siesta. Bliss.
