If you're gonna make a thread about it, could you please include a little information about them?

You wouldn't think that needed telling, but I'm getting tired of all these band threads made by people who make no effort at all to explain who they are or why we should get to know them.

Sorry about that, will do in the future.

Goldfish is a Nu jazz electronic band from Cape Town South Africa made up of David Poole and Dominic Peters, both are successful Jazz musicians, who are using Samplers, a Groove box, Keyboards, funky upright Bass and Saxophones, to obtain that unique Goldfish sound. They have opened for many international electronica acts, including Basement Jaxx, Fatboy Slim, Mr Scruff, Audio Bullys, Paul van Dyk, Pete Tong and Stereo MC's. In 2009, they set a new South African Music Awards record for most nominations, with 8 nominations including Best Duo or Group and Album of the Year.

Their Discography Includes.
Caught in the Loop (2006)
Perceptions of Pacha (2008)

Songs I recommend are...
"Soundtracks and Come Backs" - 5:21
"The Real Deal" - 4:49
"All Night" - 3:45
"Eqyptology" - 4:48
"This Is How It Goes" - 7:05
"Fort Knox" - 3:18
"Cruising Through" - 4:17

Love Goldfish. Got both the albums and going to see them next saturday in Durban. Seen them before too, great performance.

Caught in the loop was more enjoyable for me... the real deal and wait are minute

David and Dominic sure are great. Heard that both of them can play 10+ insturments and have music degress in music of some sought or in the process of abtaining them from UCT?
