As you can see I'm very fond of MGMT.
Is MGMT the only thing you listen to? lol

I would put Scooter, Justice, and Hibernate on that list along with MGMT.

I don't think I'd classify MGMT as "electronica" in the strict sense of electronic dance music and its sub-genres.

MGMT is more indie/electronic/post rock/etc...
If you haven't heard trance, house, breaks, drum & bass, garage, electronica (WHICH IS A SUB GENRE, NOT AN UMBRELLA TERM) hardcore, ambient, IDM, etc.. then you should listen and notice the vast difference between what you're referring to as general EDM and the shit that just happens to have electronic instruments in its compositions.

This. MGMT is indie electronic at best, but really just pop. Pop bands in the 80s weren't called electronic simply because they used synths.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

As I suspected, Cory would not know good electronica if he found it behind the shed copulating with his grandmother.

Yes, the title is very misleading. I thought I would find a huge listen of awesome tunes, guess not.
